1935 Jeanette and Bob Ritchie are seen dancing at the Trocadero. (Nelson is on a concert tour and they are broken up after the "Rose Marie" pregnancy.) From available letters, we know that Ritchie hoped in vain to rekindle his relationship with Jeanette.
