Another of the eight Jeanette MacDonald–Nelson Eddy films has been released on DVD!

Bitter Sweet is now available…  It was their 7th film together and their second together in Technicolor.

Today in J/N History

1944 Nelson writes the first draft of a movie treatment for himself and Jeanette entitled "Timothy Waits for Love." The plot somewhat resembles Mel Gibson's movie "Forever Young" (1992) in which the hero is cryogenically frozen and wakes up years later to be reunited with his lost love.
