This is directed to two very stupid and very disrespectful people – “Harry” & “Max Zook” (!)
I think you are a couple of jerks who know nothing about Jeanette and/or Nelson. Anyone who says Jeanette’s voice is “tinny”, and the other says that standing next to Nelson for 8 yrs. was like standing next to a wooden Indian is nothing but plain stupidity! And Kitty Carlisle – give me a break!
Jeanette and Nelson were magic on the screen together. They had two of the most beautiful voices ever. It makes me sick to see people like you, know-nothings, write in your untrue, rotten statements.
Why don’t you research before you send in your rotten comments? J&N loved each other all of their lives. DO NOT disrespect their memory or their great talent. You and all of your type make me very angry and very sad.

My Dear Friends/ World.
I am surprised with the comments given by certain people with regards to J&N.
When I watched their movies in 1970’s in Malaysia, I instantly fell in loved and loved to see more.
even my neighbours – Gals yes ! just sneak near my window and listen to their music I played out loud…TRUE!
Thanks to Lincoln Center and Television in Malaysia that I grow-up with this fond memories.
I also try to revert to Christian name as Eddy but I couldn’t at that time because another classmate of mine in St John’s Institution was having the same as Eddy, so you can see how I just loved to hear Nelson Eddy sings such lovely songs like Rose Marie, Falling-In-Love with someone madly, Tramp-Tramp etc….
I just loved to sing his songs! and record with a old tape recorder in Malaysia at that time…but bad quality.
Try listening to Nelson again and you will just love and have a second thought again my friends.
Even, our previous SULTAN of Johore in 1940’s have sent His Excellency wishes of Congratulations and Best Wishes to Jeanette & Nelson (as recorded in TCM!!!)
I am from the younger generations but have grownup and loved all American Silver screen movies and their fantastic Actors and Actress.
Thanks to the team from Jeanette MacDonald & Nelson Eddy Blog, website and especially to Sharon & Team for their hardwork for bringing this good memories of J&N forever to the World.
Have A Great Day and stay tune to more J&N.
Eddie from Malaysia
