“Sweethearts” reader review…”book isn’t long enough!”

From Harriet Baker:

If I fall asleep at work today you are getting the blame.  I curled up in bed at 9:15 and read until 12:25!!!   I read the Tahoe letter 3 times and yes I had kleenex at my side.  I cried at the first page with the quotes from Irene Dunne, etc.  Lady, you are a great writer!!!   You are such an easy writer to read.

If I have one complaint, it’s that this book isn’t long enough.  I have read Sweethearts 1,565,998 times and I knew immediately what sentences were new.  Keep going Sharon.  Please keep going.

1946 Jeanette's first film, "The Love Parade," screens again in Los Angeles. Jeanette doesn't attend; she is ill, reportedly suffering a bad cold and is on penicillin.
