While Sharon Rich has written, co-written, edited, and ghostwritten numerous books, she is best known as a film historian. Her works on Jeanette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy include titles she authored, annotated, or introduced with extensive historical commentary. She is also the co-founder, writer, and editor of Mac/Eddy Today magazine, widely acclaimed for its meticulous research and richly detailed documentation of the MacDonald–Eddy legacy.
