Two of the books offered here were written by Laurrie Garner—one under her own name and one under the pseudonym K.T. Ernshaw. Laurrie shared an on-and-off relationship with Nelson Eddy during periods when he was estranged from Jeanette MacDonald. Her novel To Love Again draws on that experience, with the main character inspired by the Nelson she personally knew.

Laurrie was one of the few women to speak publicly at our group events, candidly sharing her time with Nelson. That chapter of her life came to a close when she came to understand that Jeanette was the true love of his life.

1938 Louella Parsons' published blurb: "Jeanette MacDonald and Gene Raymond are laughing at those rifting rumors. 'I thought they would rumor the stork before they separated us,' Gene said. Not such an amusing quote since photographic evidence shows that Jeanette visibly had a major pregnancy during this year.
