1936 It's announced that Jeanette and Nelson will re-team next in "The Girl of the Golden West."  During this period in December, they had a brief reunion despite her engagement to Gene Raymond. But it would be nearly a year before this film was made due to their inability to reconcile their differences (mostly over her career) and their overall estrangement before and after her marriage.
