While Nelson and Jeanette are on the outs, he takes Mary Pickford to a Hollywood Bowl concert and then goes to her good friend/screenwriter’s house, Frances Marion. A year or so later when Jeanette is engaged to Gene Raymond, Nelson seriously romances Frances Marion.
