NOTE: The dates of our trip have been finalized to Monday, June 8, 2026 through Saturday, June 13! This saves us hundreds of dollars each on our hotel rooms!

Next year, 2026, is the 90th anniversary of the movie Rose Marie. We have finalized our dates for our Lake Tahoe trip, to visit the various locations where the film was shot. This will include 5 nights in a hotel (the location to follow as we finalize plans). Our tour guides will be the ladies who have visited a few times and are familiar with all the filming locations. Those who choose can also climb up to Alpine Meadows and see where Jeanette and Nelson filmed “Indian Love Call.” And yes, the famous tree is still standing. Our dates are June 8 through June 13, as this week features the best hotel rates and a less busy time at Tahoe. Details will be updated here in the next few days.

We are looking into group accommodations, so you will have to pay for a 5-night hotel stay. Not sure whether there will be an event meeting charge, as we plan to screen “Rose Marie” and have other group activities besides sightseeing. Some will want to rent a car, and we will sort out carpooling for sightseeing. Those who need an airport transport from the Reno airport to the hotel, the fee is about $36 this year, one way. We may need to rent a meeting room for this, and possibly have some guest speakers. Right now, if you are interested joining us and want more information, please “purchase” this item for no charge. That way we can get an idea of your interest and also keep you posted on updated plans.

Would you please write in the “order notes” when checking out, if you would plan to come alone, or how many people would you likely bring? Would you be flying in or driving? Also, any questions or suggestions, please add to the order notes.
