1944Next day after Jeanette is hospitalized in El Paso, Nelson nearly cancels his Carnegie Hall concert and has vocal challenges but sings well after intermission at learning Jeanette is okay. In fact he speaks to the audience in the second half telling them he will do a song that is "very dear to me" and he sings "Indian Love Call." His final encore was "Rose Marie."
