Personal update again!
Well, it has been a hectic week for me since returning from Washington, D.C. My hubby had a bad reaction to medication and went into a light coma… the hospital folks seemed a bit freaked out and ordered every kind of test to be done. Fearing the worst, I called the family to come. This story has a happy ending, though because he woke up, none the worse for wear.
He still has a stretch of time in the hospital ahead of him, though, as he is on a course of intravenous antibiotics because the bone in his foot shows signs of infection.
So, that is why I have not posted this week…I still want to do a write-up on the Washington, D.C. event when I have a good amount of time to upload the photos, etc. So watch for it. In the meantime, thanks for your good wishes for Jake and I will post up a few other items of interest. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!
